Election of KWSD Executive Committee, 2012- 2014

NOTIFICATION

The Executive Committee of KWSD at its executive meeting held on 15 January 2012 decided to hold the election of the new office bearers for the term April 2012  March 2014 on February 26, 2012 (Sunday). The Committee appointed Rev. Dino L. Touthang (Pastor, KWSD) and Rev. Letlal Haokip (Associate Pastor, KWSD) and Ms. Hoineichin Singson, Lady Staff worker, KWSD as Election Commission to conduct the election. This notification is accordingly issued to the members of KWSD to prayerfully file nominations. Eligibility of candidates and guidelines for the election are laid down as below:

ELIGIBILITY

Ø A born again Christian

Ø An active member of KWSD for at least one year
Ø Willingness and commitment to serve the Lord

Ø A payee of tithes if he/she is an employed member.

‘LET HER LIVE’ – Consultation @ Central DBF on 20th Feb

In association with Salt Initiative, UESI-Delhi has already had orientation for the EU students about responding to the issue of female foeticide practiced through sex selective abortions.

Through these orientations, we have learnt that the problem goes beyond the issue itself; it’s root causes lie in the societal mind-set towards girls and women. Unless intervention is made at the mind-set level, all the efforts made through legal and government actions

A Report on One Day Youth Programme

The Youth Department of KWS Delhi  organized  a  one  day youth programme for the spiritual growth of the youth and to impart necessary knowledge for their day-to-day living on 28 January 2012  at  the  Apostles’  Methodist Church, Sector IV, R. K. Puram. The event was a success, seen from the enthusiastic participation of over 250 members. We thank the Almighty God for the successful conclusion.
